What do I need to know?
We have two main programs here at the Cooma Gymnastics Club. We have our recreational classes and competitive classes. All classes at CGC that are not squad classes are recreational only classes.
What you need to know
-
All children are to be dropped off and picked up inside our Gymnastics Foyer by a parent or carer
-
Please remember to pack a drink bottle. We have several water breaks during class and the gym can get very hot, especially in the summer months.
-
All students are to wear comfortable clothes, no uniform is required (loose fitting clothes may be inappropriate for competitive classes)
-
Socks or bare feet are appropriate for classes
-
Long hair must be tied back for safety and no excessive jewellery ie: long necklaces or dangling earrings
-
Students are to please wait in the foyer until instructed to enter the gym floor by a coach
-
For all children's safety all children are required to stay on the gym floor for the duration of their class. The gym floor gate is to be closed during classes
-
Students under the age of 5 years old must have a parent or carer present at the club at all times
-
Please ensure a parent or carer is at the gym 5 minutes prior to the end of the class to ensure children are picked up on time and supervised at all times.
-
If your child needs regular guidance, assurance or supervision from a parent or carer please ensure someone is present in the gym at all times with your child
Payment
All classes are to be paid at the time of enrolment. If, for any reason, fees are not paid prior to the commencement of the term or class, your enrolled student will be un-enrolled from the class to enable other students to fill the class. All students are required to pay an annual equipment levy and annual insurance fee. For any further information or any questions please email us at info@coomagymnasticsclub.com.au
